Day 1: Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport you will be met by an Azamara representative and transferred to your Beijing Hotel. The rest of the evening is free for independent dining. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing

After breakfast your morning tour takes you to visit the Temple of Heavens, a perfection of Ming architecture. Here you will view traditional morning activities such as Tai Chi and ballroom dancing. Afterwards journey to visit the Great Wall at Mutianyue which remains one of the great man made wonders of the world. A Chinese lunch will be served prior to returning to Beijing City. The remainder of the day and evening are free for sightseeing and dining. Overnight in Beijing. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 3: Beijing

Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before departing for the extraordinary Forbidden City, considered to be the center of the Chinese world for nearly 500 years. Your tour includes a stop at Tiananmen Square, the largest public plaza earth. The remainder of the afternoon you're free to enjoy lunch and sightseeing on your own. This evening you will be treated to a delicious traditional Peking Duck dinner. Overnight in Beijing. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 4: Beijing / Xian

Following breakfast you will transfer to Beijing International Airport for your flight to Xian. On the way to your hotel in Xian, you'll visit Yangling Museum, which features archaeological discoveries form Han Dynasty tombs. After lunch on your own you'll spend the afternoon touring the city with visits to the Great Mosque of Xian, the Muslin Quarter, and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening features a Chinese dumpling dinner followed by a visit to the night market to view dumpling making and a needle throwing demonstration. Overnight Xian. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 5: Xian

After breakfast, visit the famous Terracotta Warriors Museum. Here you will view several of the Pits, the Bronze Chariot Museum and an IMAX movie presentation. Dine at a local Chinese restaurant for lunch, then visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum to see the Tang Mural. Before returning to your hotel, you will have time to stroll atop the Xian City Wall, one of the few remaining City Walls in China. The evening is yours for independent sightseeing and dining. Overnight in Xian. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 6: Xian / Guilin

After breakfast you will be transferred by private vehicle to Xian Airport, for lunch and your flight to Guilin. After checking into the hotel, the remainder of your afternoon is free to explore the city. In the evening you will enjoy a visually stunning sound and laser show followed by dinner on your own. Overnight in Guilin. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 7: Guilin / Hong Kong

After breakfast embark on a scenic Li River Cruise. Lunch will be served on board the boat as you sail southward to the village of Yangzhou. En route, you can admire the dramatic limestone formations and learn about the legends that are associated with many of these pinnacles. Late that afternoon you will fly from Guilin to Hong Kong. Upon arrival you will have the remainder of the evening free for dining and sightseeing. Overnight in Hong Kong. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 8: Hong Kong

After breakfast you will enjoy a Hong Kong Island tour with a visit to Victoria Peak, an Aberdeen Fishing Village, the Man Mo Temple, and Sheung Wan Dried Food and Herbal Market. After the tour, you will transfer to the pier to join your cruise.
