Day 1: Beijing
Arrive in a magical Beijing and get settled in your hotel. Overnight Beijing Hotel.
Day 2: Beijing
You may as well begin with the greatest - today's tour starts at the Great Wall, one of the wonders of the world, stretching over 4,000 miles. From there, head to the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China. Tonight, you'll savour a dinner of famous Peking duck at a local restaurant. Overnight Beijing Hotel. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 3: Beijing to Xian
Start your day with a tour of the Temple of Heaven, China's largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings. Later, after a delectable local lunch, take a traditional rickshaw tour of the city's ancient hutongs and visit local families at their courtyard hoes. Then you'll fly to Xian for an evening at leisure. Overnight Xian Golden Flower Shangri-La. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 4: Xian
This morning you'll experience one of the 20th century's greatest archaeological finds at the Museum of Qin, where over 8,000 Terra Cotta Warriors and horses greet you. After lunch at a local restaurant, your tour continues to the Forest of Stone Steles and the City Wall. Tonight, a special treat - dinner and folkloric show at the Tang Palace Theatre Restaurant. Overnight Xian Golden Flower Shangri-La. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 5: Xian to Beijing
Enjoy breakfast before an intriguing visit to Shaanxi Provincial Museum and the Big Wild Good Pagoda, a well preserved ancient relic and holy place for Buddhists. After lunch, you'll be flown back to Beijing were you'll check into your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a lavish banquet dinner. Overnight Beijing Hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 6: Beijing to Xiangang
Another fascinating morning of sightseeing awaits as you head for the forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Once the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties, this central Beijing attraction is the world's largest palace complex at 74 hectares. Surronded by a 6 meter deep moat and a 79 meter high wall are 980 buildings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Xianging to board your ship and sail. Breakfast and lunch are included.
