Sydney, Ayers Rock & Port Douglas Cruisetour #2AA

This itinerary starts AFTER the accompanying cruise itinerary.

Upon arrival at the Sydney pier you will be met by your Adventure Specialist and transferred to the Sydney International Airport for your flight to Cairns. Upon arrival into Cairns you'll travel by motor coach to Rainforestation Nature Park in the Kuranda Rainforest. Here you will be treated to a trip on the famous Army Ducks as well as a visit to the Koala Sanctuary. The remainder of the evening is free for sightseeing and dining in the picturesque seaside village of Port Douglas hub of the reef and rainforest coast. Overnight in Port Douglas.

After breakfast you will be transported to the jetty where you will board the boat Quicksilver for a full day of marine adventure to the Great Barrier Reef. You'll cruise to Agincourt Reef lying within the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Here you will find ideal swimming and snorkelling with opportunities to dive or view the reef up close from the underwater observatory. During the day enjoy a buffet lunch. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon where you will have the rest of the evening at your leisure. Overnight Port Douglas. Breakfast and lunch are included.

After breakfast in the hotel you'll be transported by motor coach to Cairns airport for your flight to Ayers Rock. Upon arrival at Ayers Rock you'll be transferred to your hotel for check in and some free time prior to the evenings activities. In the evening you'll be treated to the Sounds of Silence gourmet barbeque dinner in a private setting in the desert. Relax while sipping champagne as the sun dips behind the many domes of Kata Tjuta and Uluru while listening to the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo. Following dinner an astronomer will take you on a tour of the southern night skies before returning by motor coach to your hotel. Overnight Ayers Rock. Breakfast and dinner included.

In the early morning a light snack will be served as you take in the sunrise over Ayers Rock followed by a walking tour of the rock encompassing Maggie Springs. Following the walk you will return to the hotel for a full breakfast before transferring to the airport for your flight to Sydney. Upon arrival in Sydney you will check into your hotel and have the remainder of the evening free for independent sightseeing and dining. Overnight Sydney. Breakfast and dinner included.

After breakfast in the hotel you'll enjoy a panoramic city tour of Sydney with photo opportunities of Mrs Macquire's Chair, the Royal Botanic Gardens and Bondi Beach. Upon conclusion of the tour you will have the remainder of the day and evening free to enjoy at your leisure. Overnight Sydney. Breakfast included.

Following breakfast your Adventure Specialist will ensure you are transferred to the Sydney International Airport for your flight home.
