| Day 1: Auckland / Taupo | Upon arrival at the Auckland Airport, you will be met outside the customs hall, and transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Taupo. Upon arriving in Taupo, you will be transferred to the Huka Lodge, with the rest of the day spent at your leisure. Tonight, you will join the other guests for cocktails, followed by a five course dinner. Overnight at the Huka Lodge, Taupo. | | Day 2: Taupo | After breakfast at the lodge, the rest of the day will be spent at your leisure. You will explore the Taupo area, renowned for its trout fishing, and take a relaxing cruise on Lake Taupo and the Waiotapu Thermal Reserve, which is highlighted by beautiful silica terraces. Tonight, you will join the other guest for cocktails, followed by a five course dinner. Overnight the Huka Lodge, Taupo. | | Day 3: Auckland | After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for a drive to the City of Rotorau for some brief sightseeing, including views of the Lake and Rotorua Bath House, before making your way to the Rotorua Airport for your flight to Auckland. Upon arrival, your driver will take you for a brief orientation tour of the city en route to your awaiting cruise ship. |
