Day 1: Kyoto | Arrive in Osaka and head to magical Kyoto, where you'll enjoy an evening at leisure. Overnight Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto. | Day 2: Kyoto | Today you'll sightsee to some of Kyoto's greatest attractions including stunning 410-year-old Nijo Castle, site of two lavish palaces and several beautiful gardens, and the unforgettable Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion). Savor lunch at a local restaurant followed by the Heian Shrine and Tenryu-ji Temple. Dine in a traditional Japanese restaurant with a Maiko show, sure to be a highlight. Overnight Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto. (B,L,D) | Day 3: Kyoto / Kanazawa | Travel from Kyoto to Kanazawa via express train with a stop at Kaga Onsen and visit Yunokuni no mori (Kaga Arts and Craft village featuring many local artists and an opportunity to create a traditional Japanese piece of your own). After exploring this unique creative village, transfer by motorcoach to your Kanazawa hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight Hotel Nikko Kanazawa. (B,D) | Day 5: Kanazawa / Tokyo | After checking out of the hotel, explore Shirakawago village, visiting Wada family residents and Ogimachi observatory before boarding the Bullet Train from Toyama to Tokyo.
